Are photos and memories of your ex hindering your Facebook experience? Well, the website has introduced new tools so you can see less of your ex online.
The new tools being tested allow you to set up filters so you can see less of your ex's name in your feed without unfriending them entirely.
You can make sure their posts don’t show up in your newsfeed and their name won’t be a suggestion when you go to tag a photo or write a new message.
On the other hand, you can also limit what posts of yours your ex will see.
And if you’re really jilted, you can edit who can see past posts and un-tag yourself entirely from posts with your ex.
Right now, the options are only available in the U.S. on mobile. Facebook is looking to gather feedback from users and then, if the tools prove useful, they will become available to more brokenhearted account holders.
