Or are you worried that though you find a nursing job, it might not fit in your so-called standards, you might not enjoy the place, or the job might not pay well, and you fear it might not be worth all those hard years spent in nursing school?
Well, if these are the case then you might want to consider these states that are considered to be part of the top list when it comes to nursing jobs.

  • Florida
This state is considered to be one of the most popular choices forretirement and already has a large population over the age of 65. Because of these, Florida is considered a good state for nurses seeking employment. Not only does it offer good job prospects, it is also home for lots of entertainment, nightlife and exciting things to do for off-duty nurses. What better way to unwind after a toxic shift, right?
  • California
Nurses employed in California earn an average of $25.45 per hour. In 2005, the state initiated a Nurse Education Initiative. Because of this, 35 nursing programs have been added within the state which then resulted in a 78.7 percent increase of enrollment within those programs.
