The FG800 series models were developed with input from many professional guitarists and resellers. We found that many things were not to be touched - but there was a recurring remark: Everyone wanted to find the uniqueness of the FG180 with just a little more volume, a little lower and a little more punch . This is now done with the FG800 series!New Dams Scallopés
To achieve this, we relied on a powerful software able to analyze and simulate the tonal characteristics of this legendary guitar. This way we were able to accurately understand the impact of the dam on the overall volume, projection, inertia and more generally on what gave him this uniqueness and modify it to suit the requirements of guitarists.
50 years of history
Yamaha celebrates the 50th anniversary of his acoustic guitars and proudly presents its new series of guitars FG800.
This new series full of history will succeed the FG700 series.
